Hecho en Colombia es un espectáculo de música y danza sin precedentes en el país, creado y dirigido por la bailarina y coreógrafa Gina Medina, la dirección artística del coreógrafo y bailarín Iván Ovalle y la dirección musical del maestro Julio César Guarín. Esta propuesta nace de la necesidad de hacer un llamado al cambio, al optimismo y a la esperanza, elementos fundamentales para la construcción de una nueva mirada sobre Colombia.
Para dar vida a este montaje fueron convocados algunos de los más destacados coreógrafos, músicos y bailarines de la ciudad, con el propósito de tejer historias bailadas que transformen la forma en que el mundo ve nuestra tierra. El resultado es una puesta en escena controversial, profundamente emotiva, alegre y de altísimo nivel artístico e interpretativo.
La creación se nutre de la música y de los diferentes ritmos folclóricos colombianos, fusionados con un lenguaje corporal que bebe de la danza contemporánea, urbana, moderna y el ballet, en un recorrido por diversas manifestaciones culturales que día a día revelan el verdadero poder de ser colombiano. Somos una gran variedad de razas, acentos, colores y sueños; somos, sobre todo, un país que baila.
