En el marco de los 80 años del fallecimiento de Luis A. Calvo, este concierto rinde tributo a uno de los compositores más importantes de la historia musical de Colombia, haciendo de este un encuentro único que reúne a destacadas pianistas colombianas y a una nueva generación de intérpretes para celebrar la riqueza del repertorio nacional para piano.
A través de un recital acompañado por breves relatos sobre la vida y obra del maestro, el público recorrerá algunas de sus composiciones más representativas, junto con obras de otros grandes compositores colombianos. La puesta en escena combina interpretación musical, contexto histórico y un profundo sentido de identidad cultural, convirtiendo cada pieza en un homenaje al legado de Luis Alfonso Calvo.
Junto a las maestras del piano colombiano hacemos una invitación a descubrir y valorar el patrimonio musical del país mediante una experiencia íntima, emotiva y de alto nivel artístico, que reivindica la música colombiana para piano y acerca al público a una de las expresiones más valiosas de nuestra cultura.
En esta oportunidad, la presencia de las maestras Blanca Uribe, Ruth Marulanda, Helvia Mendoza, Marjorie Tanaka y Patricia Perez será el plato fuerte de este recital.
